Retired Percheron - Grant Kohrs Ranch

Perchin' on a Percheron   12 x 16"  oil/canvas panel

This is another painting I created for the Montana Painter's Alliance annual exhibition being held at the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, MT.  The show is called Historic Ranches of Montana and will run through the summer until September 3rd.

This week I'm getting an overhaul on my time management skills.  If you're an artist working at home, you already know what a challenge it is getting to the studio.  Along with running a cattle ranch, I'm doing double duty trying to organize things.  I call it the, Flying by the Seat of My Pants Schedule and needless to say, it hasn't been working.
So.
Recently I received an iPad for my 50th birthday and I must say, I love the little bugger!  I am just now learning all the nifty things it can do for me.  And after enlisting the help of my daughter, who knows gadgetry much better than myself, we sat down and created a work schedule for me to follow.  This is so cool, because little (i)Paddy here will not only track these details for me, but also nudge me in the right direction as the time approaches.  It makes this little springy sound, "Boing! Boing! Boing!" as if to say, "Hop to it!!"
This is why I'm posting here today, because Paddy told me to.
Thank you Paddy!! :O)
