I learned so much from this painting!
It was so challenging to follow the light through the branches.
I have to be honest here. Trees and foliage in general are not one of my strong suits.
But I liked how I was getting confident in laying down more paint. It was so much fun to mix up a big batch of color and keep the brush full.
Later this morning, I took that confidence to the larger painting I'm working on.
