This is my husband. He really is the kindest and most gentle person I know. But like most ranchers out here he is constantly worrying about cattle and land prices, farming and everything else that goes along with running a ranch. He never shows it, but sometimes I catch him deep in thought and I know what he is thinking.
I really like how this painting turned out. The way its outlined gives it an almost stylized look. This is something I've noticed showing up more and more in my paintings.
