This is a detail of a larger painting I've been working on for the past few months. Its a large (for me) historical barley harvest scene (1850) I'm doing for a local micro brewery here in Montana, The Blackfoot River Brewing Company which is owned by a very dear friend of mine.
I don't want to show the entire piece until its done, but I just couldn't wait to share just a bit of it here today.
This will be my last post until after the weekend paint-out. I need to get a few supplies together, then I'm off to Ennis for plein air painting! Wish me luck!
