Lewis & Clark Honor Guard - Charbonneau

10 x 8"  oil/canvas panel
NFS

This painting I did today as a big "Thank you!" to my artist friend Ron Ukrainetz for all his hard work during the National Lewis and Clark Trail Foundations Convention and Art Auction.  He sure makes life easier for us artists.  I really don't know what we would all do without him.
Ron is a member of the Lewis and Clark Honor Guard and this is a portrait of him dressed as Charbonneau.  Charbonneau, if you remember your history, was Sacagawea's husband and hired on as an interpreter for the Corps of Discovery.  He was, in stark contrast to Ron's kind and generous nature, quite a scoundrel!

So here you go Ron and thank you so much!  Your hard work never goes unnoticed!
