Far from Home 9 x 12" oil/canvas panel - sold
We just returned yesterday from our vacation to Wisconsin and had a fantastic time.
We visited family and friends near Appleton, then toured Washington and Rock Island off the coast of Door County - all of which are so beautiful! The area reminded me of the New England coastline - with fishing villages, boats, and so much history - not to mention the great people, music, food and wine! Upon returning home, I received some wonderful news! My painting shown above was accepted into the Oil Painter's of America's 2010 Western Regional Exhibition. I re-titled the piece, Far from Home formerly Fleeting Thoughts.
I am now feeling refreshed and renewed and glad to be back in the studio!
